2022 EQS 0–60 Times & Performance Specs

In its most powerful configuration, the 2022 EQS goes from 0 to 60 in just 4.1 seconds. You may be surprised to learn that this impressive performance is not the result of a gas-powered EQS engine, but rather the product of its innovative and efficient electric motor system. The 2022 EQS horsepower and torque ratings start off great and only get better, depending on whether you upgrade with a second Permanently Excited Synchronous (PSM) motor. Ready to take a closer look? We’ve got you covered.
EQS 0-60 Times by Trim Level

What Else Should You Know About the 2022 EQS Performance?
The 2022 EQS horsepower ratings and 0-60 times are certainly impressive, but we’ve only just scratched the surface of what this groundbreaking all-electric model can do. If you’re on the hunt for performance features that can make every adventure more rewarding, then look no further. The EQS comes equipped with:
- Intelligent Energy Recovery with paddles
- ECO Assist feature
- DYNAMIC SELECT® driving modes
- AIRMATIC®® suspension
- Adaptive Damping System Plus (ADS Plus)
- Electromechanical power steering
- 10-degree rear axle steering
Drivers who choose the EQS 580 4MATIC® model will also receive Infinitely Variable 4MATIC® All-Wheel Drive. With dual electric motors positioned at the front and rear ends of the vehicle, the EQS can distribute any or all of its torque to either axle. This means that the EQS 580 4MATIC® is ready for anything that the Greenwich and New Canaan winters can throw your way.
No guide to this EV’s performance would be complete without a closer look at its efficiency specs. As we’ve shown in our guide to the 2022 EQS range, the EPA has estimated that the EQS can go up to 350 miles on a single charge. Europe’s WLTP tests found the EQS to be even more impressive; here, it earned a rating of up to 478 miles per charge! And with lightning-quick recharging, you can complete your longest drives with shorter stops.
