2026 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 vs 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE 350
Serving Greenwich, CT
The compact Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 and its larger sibling, the midsize Mercedes-Benz GLE 350, are elite crossover SUVs that stand above the competition with their exceptional luxury and refined German engineering. Both of these are entry-level trim levels, and they offer minimal updates for the 2026 model year.
Performance
The 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 is outfitted with a four-cylinder, turbocharged 2.0-liter engine. This system produces 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The engine pairs with a nine-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. You can upgrade to 4MATIC® all-wheel drive.
The 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 is comparably engineered with the same powertrain, drivetrain, and transmission as the GLC 300.
Appearance
The GLC and GLE share family traits but are distinctively individual. The smaller GLC has a sophisticated front-end design with a curved grille shape and a grid-like mesh pattern. The trapezoidal headlights are mounted at an angle and show off both solid and segmented LED bars. The low-profile bumper has a metallic accent that winds down below the large air inlets.
The GLE has an edgier, downturned grille with vertical columns in lieu of a mesh pattern. The headlights are placed at a subtle angle, showing off multiple LED accent bars and two LED bulbs. The triangular air inlets are outlined in chrome and sport horizontal accents for an aggressive touch.
Features
The well-appointed GLC 300 includes a wireless charging pad, heated front seats, a power liftgate, synthetic leather upholstery, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, an 11.9-inch touch display screen for the MBUX system, forward collision mitigation, a blind-spot warning system, a driver attention alert, automated parking assistance, and several additional features.
The GLE 350 offers many of the features available in the GLC 300. It also comes with a dual-zone auto climate control system, a 12.3-inch screen for the MBUX system, a sunroof, parking sensors, and a surround-view camera.
